of Earth, is an original play-by-post roleplaying. We strive to create a laidback environment that leaves room for creativity and growth; our plot is only an outline of major events affecting the setting before roleplay begins. The rest of the plotting - aka what happens in the present & future - is entirely up to the roleplayers of the site. As events unfold in separate threads, and characters form alliances, plot points will emerge from the developing stories that could affect several others around them - if not the entire world.
de Terra begins it's story with our Earth, having been obliterated by greedy humans, dying. 8 spacecrafts carrying 300,000 humans each left it's axis, hoping for life beyond the blue planet. Out of the 2.4 million, only 1,600 survived.
Upon the spacecrafts were 200-person cryogenic freezing units with pods that would freeze it's inhabitants in time. These pods have mysteriously been crashing down onto a planet similar to the one they once called home, though there is something strange about it.
Little do these humans know, they aren't alone. Beings that seem to shift between animal and human, or seemingly both at the same time, are native to this planet, and a few aren't too happy with the invasion of a...
